Wet Felting Workshops

We have workshop dates available

Workshops are usually run on Tuesdays and Fridays. The workshop is airy but intimate - we can only accommodate a maximum of two people at each workshop. Please contact us to book a day or half-day workshop session - just let us know which date/s you have in mind and we’ll get back to you with our availability. If you would like some inspiration for your workshop session, why not browse our Gallery?

Please be aware that the workshop is only accessible via a small flight of stairs.

During a workshop you will be led step-by-step through the basic process to create a finished picture in felt - using wool to paint! By using different colours and textures of wool, you will create a completely unique piece. We have lots of inspirational photos to use as a guide, or bring your own.

We can offer both full day or half day Wet Felting sessions. During a half day session, the maximum size of picture that you can expect to make will be 20cm x 20cm; during a full day session, you can expect to make a maximum size of 30cm x 30cm. Wet felting is indeed quite a wet process, so please wear clothing which you won’t mind getting wet and soapy! A ‘bib’ style apron is a good idea - if you have one, please bring it along. You will be able to take your creation home with you on the day, but as it will still be damp, please bring a waterproof bag/container with you.
